Legal notice

1. Site owner

The site is operated independently by its owner, with no separate legal entity set up for it. For any question about this legal notice, you can write to [email protected].

2. Purpose of the site

BingoPlaylist lets you enter the URL of a public Spotify playlist and generate, from the songs it contains, music bingo cards as a printable PDF to play in person (the site itself does not play audio or act as a substitute for Spotify). The service is free and funded by advertising (Google AdSense).

The site is freely accessible and does not require sign-up or a user account.

3. Terms of use

You agree to use the site lawfully, without infringing third-party rights or applicable law, and not to use it for fraudulent purposes or in any way that could damage, disable or overload the service.

You are responsible for making sure the Spotify playlist you enter is public and that your use of the songs (e.g. playing them during the game) complies with Spotify's own terms of service and applicable copyright law. The site only looks up public metadata (song name and artist) via the Spotify API; it does not store, play or distribute audio files.

Any images you upload (card background or free-cell image) must be your own or covered by the rights needed for that use; the site owner is not responsible for content uploaded by users.

4. Intellectual property

The name "BingoPlaylist", its logo, and the design, source code and other original elements of the site belong to its owner or are used under the corresponding license, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Reproducing, distributing or modifying them without express consent is not authorized, beyond what is strictly necessary for normal use of the service (e.g. downloading and printing the generated PDFs to play).

Song names, artist names and other playlist content come from Spotify and belong to their respective rights holders; this site claims no rights over them. "Spotify" and its associated marks belong to Spotify AB; this site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify. "Google AdSense" and related marks belong to Google LLC.

5. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. The owner does not guarantee the accuracy, currency or availability of data obtained from the Spotify API (e.g. that a playlist stays public or unchanged between lookups), and is not responsible for the outcome of the game or for incidents during in-person play.

The owner is not responsible for the content, availability or policies of third-party sites linked from this site (Spotify, Google), nor for the ads served by Google AdSense, whose content it does not control.

The owner reserves the right to interrupt, modify or discontinue the service at any time, with no resulting right to compensation, given that it is a free service.

6. Data protection

Personal data processing and cookie use are detailed in the Privacy Policy, accessible from the site footer.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from use of the site is subject to the courts that apply under relevant consumer-protection rules, without prejudice to any other forum that may apply by law.

8. Changes

This legal notice may be updated to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
